Over the past decade, the Climate Council has changed the way Australians understand climate change and what we can do about it.
We’re independent and community-funded. Together with thousands of concerned, passionate supporters and donors, we’re actively pushing for solutions and policies at every level of government, to unlock action that drives down emissions and creates a thriving future for people, places and ecosystems.

Our Focus
The Climate Council is committed to producing independent, evidence based climate information to inform policies and solutions to tackle climate change – in the last 10 years we have produced 164 reports to keep Australian decision makers, and the public, across the latest science and solutions.
We keep expert and impacted voices in the media to change hearts and minds about climate change across the country – having featured in over 230,000 media stories from 2013-2022.
