Here’s what we influenced in the last year together:
- Stronger climate targets secured. Together, we helped lift the upper end of Australia’s 2035 climate pollution reduction target from 50% to 70%. That means millions of tonnes less pollution in our kids’ air.
- Polluters blocked from fast-tracking coal and gas approvals. We kept the pressure on during complex negotiations to strengthen Australia’s national environment law – protecting native forests and accelerating renewable energy.
- Nuclear rejected, renewables backed. We reached millions of Australians to show that nuclear was too slow, too costly, and too risky. Voters responded – and it helped decide an election.
- Climate crisis made impossible to ignore. When wildfires hit Los Angeles and Cyclone Alfred struck Australian communities, we were the leading voice connecting the disasters to rising climate pollution.
