In July, the Climate Council launched our brand new report Clean Jobs Plan, a detailed piece of economic modelling by Alpha Beta outlining the opportunity to get 76,000 Australians into work over the next three years.
Climate Council CEO Amanda McKenzie and Climate Solutions Researcher Ella Weisbrot held an exclusive briefing on the report for the Climate Council Champions.
This report is the centrepiece of our economic reboot campaign we have been leading at the Climate Council. Across the team and alongside our Climate Councillors, we are working on a multi-faceted campaign to shape Australia’s post-COVID-19 economic recovery which involves building long-term support from governments, driving public opinion and putting climate solutions firmly on the economic agenda.
In the Clean Jobs Plan Briefing, Ella runs through the report’s methodology and key findings, and deep dives into the report to highlight how the Clean Jobs Plan can be applied in every State and Territory.
