The Clean Jobs Plan plan identifies 12 high-impact policies that can tackle the climate and economic crises together, by creating jobs and driving down emissions. It’s focused on delivering jobs fast, where they are needed, to people who need them most; with more than 40% of the job opportunities identified located in regional Australia.

States and Territories have long proven they are leading the way on climate action, with every state and territory now having announced a net-zero emissions target. This means, despite the Federal Government’s failure to act on climate, there’s actually significant political will in Australia to tackle the climate crisis.
Our plan shows that investing in clean jobs creates lasting benefits for us all, like cheaper electricity, a more resilient environment, and a pipeline of work in industries that we’ll need in the future.
